Important News from PacAdvantage
Effective 12/31/2006, PacAdvantage will discontinue offering healthcare coverage choices to California’s small business employees. November 2006 or earlier renewing groups will continue to renew on its anniversary date, however, coverage will be terminated as of 12/31/2006. December 2006 renewing groups will have an earlier termination date of 11/30/2006. PacAdvantage has sent notices to employer groups and enrollees beginning on 8/11/2006. For alternate plan options, contact our Broker Relations.

Health Net Small Business Group Plan Addition
Effective 5/1/2006, four (4) new plans have been added:
1. HMO 10 – $10 co-pay plan with full coverage in inpatient and outpatient services
2. HMO 30 – $30 co-pay plan with comprehensive coverage
3. PPO 25 – $25 co-pay plan with $250 Deductible
4. PPO 35 – $35 co-pay plan with $1000 Deductible

This will be an automatic transfer so there are no forms to complete. All enrolled members will receive a new set of Delta Dental identification card within the next two weeks.

Effective December 31, 2005, the IFP Active Choice Plan 600 will be withdrawn from the market. All current IFP Active Choice 600 members will be offered the opportunity to transfer to any openly marketed IFP plan of their choice without going through medical underwriting. Blue Shield will be sending out reminder notifications to current members. We encourage agents to contact their clients and assist them through the transition process to procure new coverage.
