Up and running on a new T1.
Our changeover to the new net connection went as seamless as possible and as far as I can tell, our email was back up within a few hours. If you have or have had any trouble reaching us by email, please be sure to call us to let us know.
Also keep in mind that we are still rejecting all but a select few hotmail.com emails, so if you use hotmail (and for whatever reason you do not wish to switch to gmail, a better and free alternative), let me know so that I can whitelist your address. We have hotmail blocked because our staff was receiving over 50,000 spam a day from that domain, and although I know many people use hotmail legitimately, the spam was putting a considerable tax on our bandwidth and server space.
Lastly, our Broker Updates section has been updated to include many of our past and present mailed updates, so if you missed some news, misplaced it, or if you want to see what's going on, please check it out. And for your added convenience, all of our news sections are syndicated (RSS) and searchable.
Check back soon because AIS is once again revolutionizing the way business happens, and I'll post what you need to know right here!
Network upgrade
Today at around 4:15PM AIS will be changing over our internet connection from our SDSL to a full T1. Our staff should be back online within a few minutes, but our email will be down for the period of 1-5 hours, so if you send an email after 4:!5PM on Friday, it may unfortunately never reach our ais-insurance.com email addresses.
But the good news is, by tomorrow, our internet will be much more stable, quicker, and will not have SDSL bottlenecking!
If you have any questions, feel free to call me at 800-788-6524 x124.
